Developer

• Work within a technical development team to deliver new or enhanced capabilities across a portfolio of applications and supporting frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design, build, test and deploy high-quality software solutions that meet expectations and deliver value.
• Develop software that generates personalised client communications, including emails, letters, bills and regulated documents.
• Support the evaluation and resolution of technical challenges and blockers to minimise their impact on team delivery and supported products.
• Support improvements and innovation in technologies and practices that benefit the business, including software development efficiency and customer experience.
• Communicate with technical and non-technical audiences to share knowledge and ideas, provide updates, influence, challenge and receive feedback.
• Work with a mix of languages including Perl, C# and JavaScript, with cross-training provided as required, and make use of AI in the software development lifecycle.

• Experience in application development and support within an enterprise context.
• Experience in an Agile development and/or DevOps environment, including continuous improvement of practices such as automation, continuous integration and continuous delivery.
• Leadership qualities, including experience supporting and driving technical initiatives, leading solution delivery, supporting colleagues, championing quality, and contributing to development approaches and best practices.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, including building working relationships, influencing and constructively challenging others, responding well to feedback, sharing ideas, and listening effectively.
• Strong work ethic and ability to manage conflicting priorities.
