Software Developer

• Design, develop, test and maintain business applications, including solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse.
• Create Power BI reports and dashboards, working with SQL Server, relational databases and data models to support effective business reporting.
• Develop integrations between internal and third-party systems, including creating and consuming REST APIs.
• Improve and modernise existing applications through development, refactoring, optimisation, testing and deployment.
• Work with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective, user-friendly technical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve existing systems and contribute to wider digital transformation initiatives.
• Take responsibility for the design, development, maintenance and continuous improvement of digital applications, reporting and data platforms.

The role is hybrid following successful completion of probation and offers a salary of circa £40,000, depending on experience, plus an annual bonus of up to 10% (OTE circa £44,000). • Were looking for commercial experience in software or application development.
• Youll bring working knowledge of databases, SQL Server and data modelling.
• Youll have experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse and Power BI, and be able to develop reports and dashboards.
• Youll have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Youll communicate confidently and work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Youll take a proactive, collaborative approach, manage priorities effectively and show a genuine interest in continuous improvement.
• Knowledge or experience of C#/.NET would be beneficial. Exposure to HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs, Azure, Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD or Microsoft Fabric would also be advantageous.
