Design, implement, and maintain automation infrastructure to enhance deployment efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop resilient CI/CD pipelines
Support and optimise cloud-based environments, ensuring high availability and security
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively
Contribute to the development of best practices and operational procedures
Travel bi-weekly to client sites across Bristol, Cheltenham, the M4 corridor, and Manchester, providing on-site support as required

Requirements

Proven experience in a DevOps role, with a strong understanding of automation tools and cloud platforms
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell
Knowledge of containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes
Excellent troubleshooting skills and a problem-solving mindset
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
Willingness to travel bi-weekly to various client locations in the UK

Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Knowledge of security best practices within cloud environments
Prior experience working in client-facing or consultancy roles
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
