• Apply technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope and execute creative solutions for design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Provide production support for critical market data platforms, ensuring stability, performance, and availability.
• Implement production changes and deliver timely resolution to production issues, including clear root-cause ownership and follow-through.
• Develop tools and automation to improve production support processes, monitoring, and overall stability of the market data infrastructure.
• Use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate infrastructure analysis and design documentation, validating outputs and handling operational data according to sensitivity and security requirements.
• Drive a workstream or project consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologies and work with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize organization and technology processes.
• Strongly consider upstream and downstream data and system or technical implications and advise on mitigation actions.
• Apply reuse-first, AI-assisted practices within delivery and automation routines to identify recurring issues and validate remediation options, ensuring changes are traceable, auditable, and aligned to resiliency and security expectations.

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and advanced applied experience in TREP / DACS.
• Deep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments.
• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support infrastructure engineering workflows, with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation, escalating when uncertain and ensuring outcomes align to resiliency, security, and auditability expectations.
• Deep knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and scripting languages.
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies, with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private clouds.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience of market data technologies used by trading applications, including LSEG RMDS and EEDs, DACS, Bloomberg BPIPE and MFA, Solace, Metafluent, and ITRS Geneos.
• Data content and quality expertise, including the ability to validate whether a price is correct, with experience using tick history tools.
• Networking knowledge including IP (TCP/UDP/MCAST) and familiarity with switch/routing topologies.
• Operating systems experience with Linux (RedHat) system administration.
• Strong knowledge of market data feeds and trading content; previous experience with direct exchange connectivity is an advantage.
• Programming/scripting experience with Shell, Python, Perl, and SQL; JavaScript and C++ are nice to have.
