Power BI Consultant

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports and visualisations.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
• Create and maintain data models to support reporting solutions.
• Develop DAX measures, calculated columns and Power Query transformations.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Architects and Delivery Teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance of Power BI solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve reporting, performance and data quality issues.
• Apply data visualisation best practices to create engaging and accessible reports.
• Document solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Stay up to date with emerging Microsoft Power Platform, Fabric and Power BI capabilities.
• Contribute to successful project outcomes through effective technical delivery.
• Support a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement.

• We are looking for a Power BI Consultant with 2-4 years experience developing reporting and business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
• Understanding of data modelling principles and business intelligence concepts.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
• Collaborative approach and willingness to learn from others.
• Understanding of data governance, security and reporting best practices.
• Technical skills in Microsoft Power BI, DAX, Power Query (M), SQL, data modelling, Power BI Service, report and dashboard design, and data visualisation best practice.
• Desirable experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Tableau, AWS QuickSight, Power Platform, APIs and data integrations.
• Power BI Certification (PL-300) is desirable.
