Scrum Master

• Facilitate Scrum events and ensure they are positive, productive, and kept within their timeboxes
• Support iteration execution by maintaining backlog refinement, ensuring ceremony artefacts are of good quality, incorporating stakeholder feedback, and focusing on continuous customer value
• Use metrics to make work visible, improve communication, optimise team flow, and help resolve conflicts
• Identify and escalate risks, remove impediments, and shield the Squad from interruptions
• Coach Agile teams, foster continuous improvement, encourage stakeholder collaboration, and help build high-performing teams
• Facilitate collaboration with business stakeholders, product teams, vendors, and other partners, building trust and supporting effective communication
• Maintain data quality and represent the team at required governance forums, where applicable
• Advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and support operational effectiveness in collaboration with other functions and business divisions
• Lead complex work, set objectives, coach colleagues, and support performance assessment and reward decisions where the role includes leadership responsibilities
• For individual contributor responsibilities, lead collaborative assignments, guide team members, identify specialist support needs, and shape approaches to meet project outcomes
• Consult on complex issues and advise People Leaders on escalated matters
• Identify ways to mitigate risk, develop policies and procedures, and take ownership of risk management and controls
• Analyse data from multiple internal and external sources to solve problems creatively and effectively
• Communicate complex information and influence stakeholders to achieve outcomes

• Scrum Master certification, preferably SAFe
• Working knowledge of SAFe Agile
• Working knowledge of Jira
• Knowledge of the Change Agility Catalyst change framework is highly valued
• Knowledge of Jira work breakdown structure, current and future, is highly valued
