Job description

Develop and optimize SQL-driven data integrations supporting business and technical workflows
Translate requirements into scalable system designs and clearly articulate architectural decisions
Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
Write clean, efficient, well-documented Python code following engineering best practices
Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure reliability
Participate in code reviews and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data, and infrastructure partners

Requirements

10+ years of professional software development experience with strong recent hands-on coding
Advanced proficiency in Python for backend and application development
Strong SQL expertise with experience designing and optimizing complex queries
Demonstrated experience building applications end-to-end, not just maintaining existing frameworks
Solid understanding of system design, application architecture, and data modeling
Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and backend services
Strong grasp of object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms
Ability to clearly explain technical concepts and architectural tradeoffs
Experience working in agile or fast-paced delivery environments
Exposure to cloud platforms, DevOps tooling, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus
