Data Center Technician

Our Fortune 500 client, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the I&A Logistics Support team supporting data center operations and hardware management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, technical proficiency, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization., * Perform physical inventory tracking and staging to ensure accurate data management

• Coordinate and execute incoming/outgoing deliveries, including purchase order receiving and rack movement activities
• Monitor data center systems for equipment failure or errors and respond appropriately
• Assist with inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and compliance activities
• Support destruction of data bearing devices following all documented procedures and runbooks

• Associate’s degree in computer programming or equivalent training required
• 1-2 years experience required
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time effectively
• Experience working in a data center environment or with IT hardware preferred
