Senior Business Configuration Manager

This role offers the opportunity to help drive product implementation, improve processes, and support meaningful change across a complex enterprise environment. Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of policy administration system functionality for new products and features
• Oversee configuration of business rules, workflows, user interface screens, and related system enhancements
• Partner with product, operations, and technology teams to support successful project delivery
• Guide a team of business and technical professionals in solving complex problems with scalable, sustainable solutions
• Support continuous improvement efforts that strengthen delivery quality, speed, and team effectiveness
• Coach team members and help develop talent within the group
• Communicate risks, issues, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders and leadership
• Contribute to Agile delivery practices and support department initiatives such as process improvement and technology roadmap planning

• 3-5 years of experience with ALIP or similar business configuration platforms supporting enterprise solutions
• 5-7 years of experience leading business or technology solution delivery
• Strong understanding of annuity and life insurance processes across the full policy lifecycle, from new business through post-issue servicing
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to align expectations and influence stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving ability with a thoughtful, root-cause approach
• Ability to lead teams and manage work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, engineering, business, actuarial science, mathematics, physics, economics, or a related field; equivalent experience may also be considered

• Experience in the insurance or financial services industry
• Familiarity with Agile development frameworks
• Technology, business, or project-related certifications
• Experience supporting process improvement or enterprise transformation initiatives
• Ability to work across multiple teams and adapt to changing business priorities
