Engineering and IT Specialist

Aerodyne Industries Careers seeks a mid-level engineering/IT professional to support NASA and human spaceflight programs. In this role, you will contribute to systems engineering, IT, test and evaluation, and mission operations from our Merritt Island, FL headquarters. Responsibilities include supporting technical project execution, documenting requirements, assisting with test plans and data analysis, and collaborating with NASA and contractor teams to ensure safe, reliable mission performance. You’ll work in a mission-driven, collaborative culture that values integrity, innovation, and safety while gaining hands-on experience with advanced spaceflight and exploration initiatives., * Support systems engineering and IT activities for NASA and human spaceflight programs

• Assist with requirements analysis, documentation, and technical reviews
• Develop and execute test plans; support data collection and evaluation
• Participate in mission operations planning and technical troubleshooting
• Collaborate with NASA, contractors, and internal teams to ensure mission safety and reliability
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, and configuration documentation
• Contribute to risk identification, mitigation planning, and continuous improvement
