Education Level Master Degree or equivalent, We are looking for highly motivated PhD candidates with a strong interest in the mathematical foundations of deep learning and the ambition to pursue challenging research questions in this area. Successful candidates should have the following background and qualifications:

• Excellent university degree (Master’s or equivalent) in mathematics, computer science, or a closely related field.
• Strong mathematical background, particularly in areas such as machine learning theory, probability theory, optimization, and linear algebra. Experience with random matrix theory is a plus.
• Programming experience in Python. Familiarity with deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch or JAX) is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for independent research.
