Network Engineer

Hybrid Schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5, Hybrid 3 days in office 2 days remote in Anaheim, CA, * Design, implement, and support enterprise networking, security, and telecommunications solutions.

• Lead network infrastructure deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network, connectivity, and security issues.
• Monitor, optimize, and maintain network performance, availability, and security.
• Configure and support routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing solutions.
• Document network designs, configurations, procedures, and changes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend infrastructure improvements.
• Support data center initiatives and after-hours maintenance activities as needed.
• Partner with IT leadership and internal stakeholders on long-term network strategy.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network and support teams.

• Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, and Router platforms.
• Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
• SD-WAN architecture and implementation.
• Cisco Layer 2 Extension.
• VPN technologies including IPSEC and DMVPN.
• Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco ISE, TACACS / RSA, IDS / IPS.
• F5 Load Balancers, SolarWinds, and network monitoring and management tools.
• 6-8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience, including large-scale enterprise and data center environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, MCSE, or related credentials preferred.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $60.00 to $80.00/hr. w2, Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
