Mid-Level Full Stack Developer

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join a high-performing Agile team designing and building modern, services-based web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong Java and JEE development experience, knowledge of modern web technologies, cloud and microservices exposure, and experience with AI-assisted programming and Agile development practices. This role will contribute to building and modernizing applications for cloud deployment., * Collaborate with the team in an Agile environment to research best practices, design and develop application architecture, implement solutions, mentor fellow team members, and test and deploy solutions.

• Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including technical design, implementation, documentation, testing, deployment, and application support.
• Work under the direction of solution architects and technical leads on development activities.
• Deliver high-quality web applications using AI-assisted paired programming techniques and contribute to enterprise development practices.
• Assist in defining and coding the ongoing architecture and development of emerging applications.
• Develop and organize applications using best practices while sharing knowledge with team members and contributing to robust Java application development.
• Participate in all phases of an Agile software development lifecycle, including application design and requirements gathering, development estimation, coding, code reviews, and software testing.
• Participate in daily team discussions and code collaboration to promote continuous progress.
• Participate in client, industry, and end-user discussions and provide technical perspectives on application solutions.
• Participate in technical design sessions to create sustainable, high-performing features and provide accurate development estimates and timelines.
• Author automated testing scripts for applications.
• Develop a general understanding of database design and optimize application access to backend data.

• Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience with core Java and JEE, including design patterns and related frameworks.
• Experience in web application development using HTML, CSS, Angular, and JavaScript, along with a strong Java development background.
• Experience with AI-assisted paired programming tools and techniques.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and paired programming.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and investigative skills.
• Ability to analyze disparate information such as log files and error messages and investigate issues to identify root causes.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Strong hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java frontend and backend development.
• Exposure to modern Java software development tools and environments such as Maven, Git, Tomcat, Eclipse, Bamboo, and Hibernate.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or similar containerization technologies.
• Positive, can-do attitude and willingness to contribute in multiple ways to team success.
• Confident communication skills with internal team members and customers.
• Ability to work independently and within a dynamic team environment while consistently delivering quality code for review and product demonstrations.

• AWS Serverless Services: SQS, SNS, SES, Step Functions, and Lambda.
• AWS Analytics: Glue, Redshift, EMR, OpenSearch, Athena, SageMaker, and QuickSight.
• Event Streaming: Kafka.
• Web Server: Apache; Application Server: JBoss EAP.
• Open-source frameworks and libraries, including commons-*, Ehcache, Velocity, AOP Alliance, Mail, Swagger, and similar technologies.
• User authentication and authorization technologies such as ForgeRock OpenAM, SecureAuth, and Okta.
• UI/UX technologies including Angular and Bootstrap.
• Databases including AWS RDS for Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Log management and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Google Analytics, and New Relic.
• CI/CD and development tools including Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, and Selenium.
• Load testing using JMeter.
• Code management and collaboration tools including Git, GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, and SourceTree.
• Consulting experience.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another technical discipline preferred.
