Job description
- Lead engineering, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise applications hosted in AWS and on-premises Windows Server environments.
- Provide O&M support, including patching, hardening, system upgrades, and routine maintenance.
- Deliver infrastructure support during core and non-core hours as needed to meet mission requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Cloud Engineers, DBAs, and Security Engineers, to ensure system compliance, reliability, and security.
- Support application development, deployment, and lifecycle activities in coordination with government and contractor teams.
Requirements
- 4 Year Degree Information Technology or related field or Equivalent Experience.
- Strong expertise in AWS services (S3, EC2, ECS, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch) and Windows Server administration.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, DevSecOps practices, and auto-scaling solutions.
- Ability to independently develop cloud optimization strategies and maximize AWS capabilities.
- Experience with full SDLC, Agile/Scrum/Kanban, and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Strong analytical, technical, documentation, communication, and planning skills.
- Ability to work independently, identify system improvements, and support team growth.
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience.
