Software Developer (Ref# SD928CMR)

Job Duties: Under direct supervision, develop and integrate IT solutions by using appropriate development methodologies and standards using Java/J2EE technologies. Identify the client requirements by detailed discussions/meetings with client, functional users, functional/technical consultants, and product owners to collect requirement specifications, metrics, and key performance indicators. Review and analyze business rules / user requirements through meetings with end-users and Business Analysts. Review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested change is possible within existing system. Prepare flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate the software architecture that meets client requirements in an effective and cost-efficient manner. Develop in-detail technical specifications for application software. Review design ideas and prototype with product owners and development team. Involved in the design, development, and implementation of scalable, high-performance web and client/server applications using Java/J2EE technologies. Develop RESTful web services and microservices using Spring Boot. Participate in cross-functional meetings and discussions to address data transformation requirements and challenges, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare / review technical design document and process flow documents. Prepare unit test cases and unit test reports. Develop new code / enhance existing code per specifications. Develop interfaces, complex maps, maintaining configuration tables and testing. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security standards. Prepare test plans and test cases based on the system requirements / technical specifications. Review / report test results for accuracy and completeness, ensuring the desired quality standards and the system functionality are being met. Use of Java/J2EE, JSP, Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JSF, JPA, RESTful Web Services, Microservices, JavaScript, Angular, HTML, CSS, jQuery, JSON, XML, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Prometheus, Grafana, SQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, JUnit, Mockito, Terraform, and AWS.

Position requires 2 years of experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, Jenkins, Docker, JUnit, and, AWS., Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation including IT Consultant, Software Engineer, or related experience.
