Senior Software Engineer

Strong commercial experience developing substantial applications or system software in modern C++ Proven experience developing C++ software that runs on Windows Experience with hardware?connected software, device communication or comparable systems integration A good understanding of multithreading, concurrency and performance optimisation Strong debugging skills and a practical, methodical approach to solving technical problems The ability to take ownership of your work and collaborate with an international engineering team Hybrid working - typically 2 days per week onsite in Barcelona An established, ongoing R&D programme with long?term scope Useful, but not essential: experience with instrumentation, PCIe, Ethernet, device drivers, data acquisition or high?throughput streaming. You don’t need experience with every technology listed. Strong Windows C++ development and transferable hardware?facing systems experience are the priorities. Relevant backgrounds could include industrial automation, scientific or medical equipment, simulators, robotics and other device?connected applications.
