Job description

By connecting global, iconic brands more closely to the evolving needs of consumers, it ensures a strong foundation for both the present and future generations., As Technical Product Owner - E-commerce Data & Integrations, you will join a digital commerce team responsible for the systems, services and integrations that support a large international e-commerce environment.

You will manage key product data solutions, e-commerce microservices and technical integrations that enable both owned digital channels and external marketplaces. Working closely with product, engineering, architecture and platform teams, you will help develop new functionality while ensuring the scalability, stability and performance of the wider digital commerce landscape.

Your focus will be on the foundational technology and data flows behind the online customer experience. You will work with stakeholders across e-commerce, IT, customer experience and analytics to translate business requirements into reliable and scalable technical solutions.

The role combines product ownership with a strong technical focus and offers the opportunity to contribute to the continued development of a complex, international digital commerce platform., * Define and own the product vision and roadmap for the Product Information Management (PIM) system, e-commerce integrations and microservices.

  • Partner with product teams to enable new digital features and improved UX/UI, ensuring the right PIM capabilities, integrations and microservices are in place.
  • Act as the key knowledge point for the technical e-commerce ecosystem, helping stakeholders understand and visualise complex back-end solutions.
  • Build strong partnerships across e-commerce, customer experience, IT and analytics, translating strategic business needs into clear, actionable and technically focused user stories.
  • Prioritise and manage the product backlog, balancing short-term delivery with long-term scalability, platform health and data quality.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, architecture, DevOps and product data teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery, while monitoring platform performance, stability, scalability and technical risks.

Requirements

Success in this role comes from being able to translate technical topics for non-technical stakeholders, while also understanding the commercial impact of technical decisions.

To succeed, you bring:

  • Strong technical knowledge and analytical skills, combined with a good understanding of key e-commerce performance drivers such as traffic, average order value and conversion.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience keeping multiple teams and large stakeholder groups informed and aligned.
  • The ability to see the bigger picture and understand how decisions affect priorities, the product roadmap and wider business objectives.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Owner within a complex, high-traffic digital environment, preferably e-commerce.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and managing products through iterative development.
  • A data-driven approach, using analysis and validation to understand problems before defining solutions.
  • A collaborative working style, with proven experience working across multidisciplinary teams with different areas of expertise.
