Software engineer

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer within our Digital Software team, you will contribute to the continued development of our customer and supplier portals. These in-house solutions support users worldwide and offer an exciting roadmap of future developments.

Working closely with the Product Owner, Technical Lead and other Software Engineers, you will help deliver reliable, scalable and user-focused solutions aligned with business needs. We value agility, ownership, collaboration and the willingness to challenge existing approaches.

As a Software Engineer, your responsibilities are to:

• Assist in the technical software design;
• Develop production-grade code;
• Develop customized screens on the frontend;
• Implement business logic on the backend;
• Ensure sufficient code testing coverage;
• Monitor and operate the solution in production;
• Ensure technical documentation of the solution;
• Support analysis and resolution of issues during the product’s lifetime

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience;
• At least five years of experience in software engineering;
• Solid experience in web application and full-stack development;
• Proficiency in Kotlin or Java 17+, using Micronaut or Spring Boot and Gradle or Maven;
• Experience with Angular;
• Knowledge of Python or Rust is an asset;
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, code reviews and continuous integration and deployment;
• Comfortable working in Agile and DevOps environments;
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture, service-oriented architecture, and asynchronous and synchronous programming models;
• Good communication skills in English;

• Curious about new technologies and willing to continuously develop your expertise;
• Able to organise your work autonomously, take ownership and propose initiatives.
