Design Engineer - Lift Industry

You will produce detailed engineering designs and CAD drawings for bespoke projects, working closely with engineering, manufacturing and project teams. The position offers varied technical work, hybrid flexibility and long-term career development., * Produce and modify detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings.

• Develop practical designs for bespoke engineering projects.
• Review customer requirements and technical specifications.
• Ensure designs meet relevant engineering standards.
• Work with manufacturing and project teams to resolve technical issues.
• Produce accurate technical documentation.
• Manage multiple design projects within agreed timescales.
• Support design improvements and continuous development.

• Previous Design Engineering experience.
• Confident using CAD software.
• Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage deadlines and work effectively across teams.

Experience within lifts, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, construction or access systems would be advantageous. Applicants from other relevant engineering backgrounds will also be considered., * lift industry CAD: 2 years (required)

• £35,000-£45,000 salary, depending on experience.
