Graduate Design Engineer

• Produce and modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings.
• Support engineers with designs, calculations and technical documentation.
• Review drawings and specifications for accuracy and practicality.
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing and project teams.
• Help resolve technical issues and improve existing designs.
• Develop knowledge of relevant engineering standards.
• Support multiple projects and meet agreed deadlines.

• Degree in Mechanical, Design, Manufacturing Engineering or a related subject.
• Academic or practical experience using CAD software.
• Good understanding of engineering principles and technical drawings.
• Strong analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Enthusiastic, willing to learn and able to work independently or within a team.

Previous industry experience is not essential. The company is looking for technical ability, a positive attitude and a genuine interest in design and manufacturing., * Bachelor’s (required), * academic mechanical/manufacturing design: 1 year (preferred)

• Salary of £25,000 - £35,000, depending on experience.
