  • Conduct customer site surveys and coordinate with MRO-qualified and other technical personnel.
  • Train airline teams, handling agents and other customer stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary Digital Solutions contact for customers across the EMEA region.
  • Turn telemetry data into actionable insights around utilisation, dwell time, station imbalances, demurrage, damage and asset loss.
  • Build and present ROI reviews demonstrating the operational and financial value of SmartULD.
  • Support the commercial team throughout the pre-sales process, including customer meetings, solution demonstrations, RFPs, trials and proof-of-value deployments.
  • Identify opportunities to expand SmartULD across additional fleets, stations and use cases.
  • Bring customer feedback and operational requirements back into our product roadmap.

Requirements

  • Commercial experience is essential, ideally in pre-sales, solution consulting or a customer-facing commercial role within a technical environment.
  • Proven ability to understand customer needs, present technical solutions in a commercially compelling way and demonstrate customer value.
  • Experience supporting the commercial process through customer meetings, solution demonstrations, trials, proof-of-value projects and/or RFPs.
  • Practical understanding of IoT devices, connectivity, data quality and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in a customer-facing technical, implementation or customer-success role.
  • Ability to use operational data to build and demonstrate a clear return on investment.
  • Experience in the aviation industry is a strong advantage, particularly within air cargo, airline operations or ground handling.
  • Understanding of ULD Control, cargo operations and the operational processes around ULDs is highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving mentality and willingness to take ownership.
  • Comfortable working independently in an international environment.
  • Professional fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
  • Existing right to work in the EU.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% of working time, including overnight stays and occasional weekend work.
  • Experience with IATA ULD Regulations, cellular IoT, BLE, GNSS, telematics platforms or MRO environments would be an additional advantage.

KEY COMPETENCIES

  • Strong commercial and customer orientation.
  • Able to combine technical understanding with commercial thinking.
  • Confident presenting solutions and value propositions to customers.
  • Hands-on and solution-driven.
  • Analytical and comfortable working with data.
  • Independent with strong ownership.
  • Comfortable in operational aviation environments.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Flexible and internationally minded.
