Job description
- Provide support to end users through their requests for services via a helpdesk management system.
- Provide end-user system training on an as-needed basis.
- Coordinate Chromebook repairs with our repair vendor.
- Assist with synchronizing information between systems.
- Work with the Director of Technology to coordinate system updates and provide recommendations on new purchases.
- Research and advise the Director of Technology on more efficient ways to perform duties and/or responsibilities. Adopt those practices in consultation with the Director of Technology.
- Maintain accurate inventory, documentation, and helpdesk work orders.
- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Associates degree in a related technical field or equivalent training and/or experience.
- Proficiency in both the Chrome and Windows client and server environments.
- Proficiency in Google Apps Administration.
- Maintain a knowledge base in emerging technology.
- Strong decision-making and organizational skills, willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
- Good work habits, punctuality, responsibility, honesty, and reliability.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision, multitask and meet deadlines.
- Ability to train and work closely with co-workers.
- High level of ethical behavior and ability to maintain strict confidentiality relating to all school district matters.
- Basic knowledge of principles and practices of network maintenance.
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license is required for travel between district school buildings.
Benefits & conditions
Hours: Part-time (29 hours/week) School Year Position with additional hours in August and June
