- Analyze data from tests to identify performance bottlenecks or system vulnerabilities; leverage knowledge of APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), RESTful services, SOAP web services, SQL/PL-SQL databases (MySQL, Oracle), and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for comprehensive testing coverage.
- Provide technical support during testing phases by troubleshooting software issues on Windows, Linux, Android, iOS environments using Visual Studio, Eclipse, or other IDEs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software testing with a strong understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall models.
- Hands-on expertise with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, TestNG, JUnit, and scripting languages like Python or JavaScript.
- Solid knowledge of performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or similar solutions; experience with system testing and load/stress testing is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD for automated build verification.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and debugging across complex systems involving APIs (REST/SOAP), databases (MySQL, SQL Server), and web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
- Experience working with version control systems such as Git or SVN; proficiency in using Jira for issue tracking and requirement management.
- Knowledge of cloud services like AWS or Azure; understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA) principles is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly document test cases, results, and defect reports; capable of collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
