Job description
A large healthcare system based out of Philadelphia is seeking highly skilled Healthcare IT Project Managers with expertise in Epic and/or Revenue Cycle systems to join their PMO. This role involves leading complex healthcare technology projects, ensuring successful implementation, integration, and optimization of enterprise software solutions within clinical and administrative environments. These professionals will lead multiple concurrent projects focused on clinical systems, electronic medical records, and revenue cycle operations while partnering closely with clinical, operational, and technology teams.
What You’ll Do
- Lead healthcare IT projects from initiation through completion.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects within a large project portfolio.
- Partner with clinical, operational, business, and IT stakeholders to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Coordinate project plans, schedules, risks, issues, dependencies, and status reporting.
- Support initiatives related to enterprise healthcare applications, clinical workflows, patient access, patient accounting, medical records, and revenue cycle operations.
- Facilitate communication across teams and leadership groups.
- Identify risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure projects remain aligned with organizational priorities and timelines.
- Contribute within a collaborative, team-oriented project management environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- Experience leading Healthcare IT projects. - specifically focused on Epic Optimization or Rev Cycle
- Experience working within a hospital, healthcare system, or provider organization.
- Experience working with Epic (EMR/EHR) platform.
- Experience supporting Revenue Cycle, Patient Access, Registration, Patient Accounting, Medical Records, or related healthcare operations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to travel onsite as needed within the PA, NJ, and DE region., * Epic AND/OR Healthcare Rev Cycle: 5 years (Required)
