Job description

  • Design and refine gameplay systems, core mechanics, and game loops for a mobile life-sim.
  • Balance game economies and progression systems to maximize player engagement and retention.
  • Serve as the primary creative voice within a technical team developing AI tools for game creation.
  • Produce high-quality documentation, including design outlines, diagrams, and mockups.
  • Directly iterate on designs within the game engine to refine prototypes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with UI/UX designers, artists, and developers to ensure design intent is maintained through implementation.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4-5 years of professional game design experience.
  • A portfolio demonstrating expertise in progression, economy, and system design.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas through clear documentation.
  • Deep understanding of player psychology and UI/UX principles.
  • Experience with Mobile platforms, UGC, or AI workflows is highly advantageous.
  • UK Work rights is a must, VISA isn’t possible.
