Senior IT QA & Testing Professional

We, here at Vantage Info Solutions Ltd. are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior IT Quality & Testing Professional to support the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and secure technology solutions.The role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing testing and quality assurance activities across IT applications, systems, integrations, and digital solutions. The role will contribute across the full software development and delivery lifecycle, from requirements and test planning through to execution, defect management, release validation, and post-implementation assurance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate testing activities across IT projects and system changes.
• Develop test plans, test cases, scenarios, and supporting documentation.
• Execute testing and identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
• Work with developers, business analysts, project teams, and suppliers to resolve issues.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and business validation activities.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate system integrations, data flows, and business processes.
• Provide regular updates on test progress, defects, risks, and quality status.
• Support release and deployment activities by providing testing evidence and quality assurance input.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, automation, tools, and overall quality.
• Ensure solutions meet agreed business requirements, quality standards, and acceptance criteria.

• Strong knowledge of software testing and Quality Assurance (QA) principles.
• Experience in test planning, execution, defect management, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing.
• Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum and software delivery lifecycles.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver testing within agreed timescales.
• Knowledge of test automation, API testing, SQL, or CI/CD would be advantageous.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Relevant experience in IT testing, quality assurance, software delivery.
• ISTQB & other relevant certifications.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM/Quality Center, or similar.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with API and integration testing.
• Experience with SQL and database validation.
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience testing cloud-based applications and services.
• Knowledge of performance, security, accessibility, or mobile testing would be advantageous.
• Experience working with third-party suppliers and technology partners.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively within deadlines.
• A proactive approach to identifying quality risks and opportunities for improvement.
