Job description
The New Business Team Lead is accountable for the performance and growth of the new business engine within our Platforms and Technical Services division. You lead a high-impact team across the full new business funnel, from outbound prospecting through to closed-won deals, with direct responsibility for pipeline generation, conversion rates, and new logo acquisition across our partner platforms. You’ll carry a blended team target across new ARR, delivery revenue and managed services revenue. You’ll set the standard, coach the team to hit their numbers, and stay commercially involved in strategic deals where your experience adds value. You sit within our Team Lead tier, working closely with the Senior Director, reporting on the health of the new business pipeline, and bringing ideas to improve our go-to-market approach and help achieve business targets., * Own the new business number (ARR plus blended delivery and managed services revenue), forecasting accurately and reporting weekly to the Senior Director
- Build the operating cadence: pipeline reviews, deal reviews, 1:1s, and team standups Stay close to our vendor partner ecosystems for co-sell and joint campaign opportunities Personally engage in strategic and complex deals to drive them to close, including executive-level discovery and commercial negotiation
- Act as the escalation point on at-risk deals or competitive situations
- Maintain CRM hygiene across the team, ensuring our CRM reflects accurate pipeline at all times
Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop SDR and AE roles, holding each accountable to their level-specific KPIs (activity, meetings booked, pipeline created, revenue closed) and supporting progression through the sales career pathway
- Run structured 1:1s and performance reviews with each direct report
- Build and refine the outbound playbook, including ICP definition, messaging, cadences, and objection handling
- Recruit, onboard, and ramp new hires into the team as it grows
- Partner with vendor channel managers to align on co-selling motions and joint campaigns
- Collaborate with the Existing Business Team Lead on cross-team motions and clean handovers of new logos into account management
Requirements
- 3+ years in B2B SaaS sales, with at least 1 year in a team lead, senior AE, or sales management capacity
- Proven track record of personally hitting and exceeding new business revenue targets
- Demonstrable success coaching a sales team to hit activity, pipeline, and revenue targets
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to forecast pipeline accurately
- Confident running outbound motions across phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have
- Experience selling SaaS platforms or comparable technology solutions
- Familiarity with sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, SPIN, Challenger)
- Experience working within a partner or channel sales environment
- Computer literate with experience in Google Workspace and CRM systems, * Do you have 3+ years in B2B SaaS sales?

- Employee discount, Base Salary - £40,000 to £50,000 per annum Variable Team - performance bonus tied to blended ARR, delivery, and managed services targets OTE - £70,000 to £80,000 Location - Hybrid, with flexibility across our Birmingham, Reading, and Stockport offices Schedule - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm
