Job description
- Live chat and inbound support Youâll own the front line. Customers come to you through live chat and tickets, and your job is to get them a fast, accurate answer or get it to the right person without dropping the thread. Youâll work the queue with judgement, knowing which issues need to jump and which customers are about to have a much bigger problem than the one theyâve reported.
- Solving real warehouse problems Most issues that reach you are operational, not technical. Someoneâs stock doesnât match, a putaway rule is behaving oddly, a label isnât printing an hour before a collection. Youâll use what you know about how warehouses actually run to work out whatâs really happening, then fix it or explain it in language the person on the other end understands.
- Building the knowledge library Every question you couldnât answer easily is a gap. Youâll flag it, write it up, and use our AI tooling to turn it into an article that saves the next person the same twenty minutes. Over time youâll be one of the main reasons the library is any good.
- Growing into solutions work As you build product depth, youâll take on configuration queries, support implementations, and get involved in the more complex customer problems. This isnât a promise for later, itâs a normal part of the role once youâre steady on the front line.
Requirements
- Hands on warehouse experience. Ideally youâve been a WMS superuser, key user, or systems lead in a 3PL, distribution centre, or wholesale operation.
- Real familiarity with a warehouse management system. Which one matters less than how deeply you used it.
- The ability to explain a technical thing to a non technical person without patronising them. Youâll do this ten times a day.
- Calm under pressure. Warehouses have bad mornings, and youâll be talking to people in the middle of them.
- Comfortable writing clearly. A good written answer resolves a chat in one message instead of five.
- Willing to use AI tooling properly as part of your daily work, not as a novelty.
- No SaaS or software support background required. If you know warehousing and youâre sharp, weâll teach you the rest.
- Most importantly: someone curious enough to keep asking why, honest enough to say when they donât know, and interested in building something rather than just holding a queue together., * Warehouse management: 1 year (preferred)
- Warehouse management system: 1 year (preferred)

About the company
Clarus WMS is modern warehouse management software built for fast moving logistics operations. Weâre growing quickly, and the Solutions Engineering team sits directly between our product and the people using it on the floor every day.
Weâre also doing something most businesses havenât caught up with yet. Weâre embedding AI into the way we operate, not as a buzzword, but as a genuine lever for doing better work, faster. Youâll use AI to search the knowledge library mid chat, draft and review answers, and turn the questions you couldnât answer into content that means nobody has to ask them again.
This is the entry point into a team with a real career path. You wonât be doing the same job in two years.
The Opportunity
If youâve run a WMS from the warehouse side, you already know the job. You know what an operator means when they say the pick didnât go through. You know which questions are urgent and which ones can wait until after the despatch cut off. That knowledge is the hardest part of this role to teach, and itâs the reason weâre hiring people like you rather than career support agents.
Youâll be the first point of contact for Clarus customers, handling live chat and inbound tickets and making sure people get fast, accurate answers. Thatâs the core of the role and youâll get good at it quickly, because youâre translating something youâve already lived rather than learning it cold.
As your product knowledge builds, the work widens. Configuration queries, implementation support, and the more awkward customer problems that need someone who understands warehouse operations rather than just software. How fast that happens is down to you.
Youâll also shape how the team learns. When a customer asks something that should have an answer in the knowledge library and doesnât, you flag it, and that gap becomes content. Being honest about what you donât know is genuinely valuable here, not a weakness to hide.
This is not a âclose tickets and move onâ role.
