Open Medical is seeking an Implementation Specialist to support the successful deployment of our Pathpoint platform modules across diverse healthcare organisations., * Lead the end-to-end implementation of technical solutions into clinical settings, from requirement gathering and scoping through to go-live and hypercare.
- Collaborate with clinicians, managers, and end-users to gather requirements, map existing workflows and enable seamless adoption of Pathpoint.
- Work alongside internal cross-functional teams to maintain delivery momentum and embed sustainable operational change.
- Translate clinical requirements into clear technical briefs and produce workflow maps tailored to client environments.
- Support technical leads with functional testing, guide clients through User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and support tier-2/3 helpdesk queries for active clients in the Business as Usual (BAU) phase.
- Organise and execute onboarding plans and project rollout activities aligned with client timelines and technical dependencies.
- Deliver training to end-users and provide hands-on, on-site support during go-lives (travel is typically monthly, subject to active project stages).
- Adapt to changing project requirements and assist in mitigating risks under tight deadlines.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and status updates in line with agreed project plans.
- Regularly engage with the client’s stakeholders to ensure updates are communicated, and the implementation is running as planned.
- Provide post-deployment support to ensure ongoing success.
Requirements
In this role, you will contribute directly to the implementation lifecycle, helping bridge the gap between clinical stakeholders, end-users, and internal technical teams. This hands-on position requires project management skills, stakeholder engagement, workflow mapping, user training, and operational support to ensure smooth digital transformation.We are looking for a proactive problem-solver who takes initiative, executes project deliverables efficiently, and applies sound judgement to resolve operational tasks or escalate issues appropriately.
We are a small, fast-moving team of around 30 people, which means you will experience real ownership and see the visible impact of your work from early on.
This is a full-time, office-based role in Ealing Broadway, London, with a degree of travel required., * Experience supporting software implementations for enterprise clients (experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable).
- Hands-on experience with process mapping, client onboarding, or assisting with UAT sessions.
- Familiarity with project collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Miro) to track tasks and document workflow maps.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively address operational blockers and escalate risks appropriately.
