IT Engineer

• Responsible for the business’ IT functions
• Supervise daily operations of network and server infrastructure
• Point of contact for day-2-day trouble shooting and IT issues
• Evaluating risk, developing network recovery and back-up processes
• Assessing and purchasing new and replacement hardware & software
• Assuring that IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes and regulations
• Implementing security of the network, data and its storage
• Assist in training and mentoring staff on how to operate within the network ensuring best practices
• Conduct weekly spot checks, ensuring any issues are addressed promptly
• Keep up to date with the latest technologies

• Have a flexible attitude to changing workflows
• Be a self starter and self motivated
• Positive and ‘can do’ attitude with excellent communication skills
• Organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure at times
• Systematic approach to problem solving
• Strong knowledge of Office 365, Windows OS and cloud based systems
• Experience in a similar role (3 years minimum)
• A relevant certification (Microsoft, Cisco) would be beneficial

Monday to Friday: 8am - 5pm

(Flexibility required at times due to the nature of the role)
