Data Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Data Manager to join a secondary school on a temporary basis from 20th June to 23rd July. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled education data professional to support the school during a critical period, including Exam Results Day and results processing. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing assessment and achievement data, maintaining the school’s Management Information System (MIS), and ensuring accurate reporting and analysis across the school., * Manage and maintain the school’s MIS, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

• Process and analyse examination results, including support during Results Day.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
• Produce reports and statistical analysis for senior leaders and other stakeholders.
• Manage assessment, attendance, behaviour, attainment, and progress data.
• Support statutory data returns and performance reporting requirements.
• Assist with the setup and administration of the new academic year where required.
• Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to provide data analysis and reporting.
• Ensure effective use of data systems to support school improvement and student outcomes.

• Previous experience working as a Data Manager or in a similar data-focused role within a Secondary School, Sixth Form, or Secondary School with a Sixth Form provision.
• Strong working knowledge of Arbor MIS is essential.
• Experience processing examination results and supporting Results Day activities.
• Excellent data analysis and reporting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Desirable

• Experience with SISRA, FFT Aspire, ALPS, or other educational data platforms.
• Knowledge of DfE returns and statutory reporting requirements., We are looking for a proactive and highly organised professional who can hit the ground running with minimal supervision. Due to the nature of the assignment, applicants must have recent and relevant experience within a secondary education environment and be confident using Arbor from day one.
