Job description

Centerpiece Health Agency, LLC is a growing Pennsylvania-licensed, CHAP-accredited, and Medicare-certified healthcare organization providing skilled home health and non-medical home care services. As part of its continued growth, Centerpiece is preparing to expand its continuum of care to include services for individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism through Pennsylvania’s Office of Developmental Programs (ODP).

Centerpiece is seeking a Business Analytics & Market Intelligence Analyst to build the data and intelligence systems that will guide the organization’s next stage of growth. The Analyst will use business analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and data-visualization tools to convert referral, marketing, operational, payer, demographic, and market data into measurable business insights. The role is responsible for answering practical growth questions: Where is demand? Which referral sources produce admissions? Which markets should Centerpiece prioritize? Which outreach strategies work? Where are opportunities being lost?

The Analyst will develop dashboards, intelligent queries, forecasting models, KPIs, and market-intelligence tools supporting Centerpiece’s operations across Philadelphia, Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, Bucks, Berks, and Lancaster Counties, as well as future service-line and geographic expansion.

Core Responsibilities

(i) Business Intelligence & Analytics

  • Integrate and analyze referral, admission, payer, marketing, staffing, and operational data using SQL, Python, Excel, Tableau, Qlik Sense, Alteryx, AI, and related tools.
  • Build automated dashboards and reporting workflows for management.
  • Establish KPIs for referrals, admissions, conversion rates, payer mix, service utilization, staffing capacity, and market penetration.
  • Apply trend analysis, forecasting, and predictive methods to identify opportunities and performance gaps.

(ii) Marketing & Referral Intelligence

  • Develop AI-assisted queries and research workflows to identify hospitals, physicians, rehabilitation facilities, skilled nursing facilities, senior communities, managed-care organizations, community partners, and other referral opportunities.
  • Track the patient-acquisition funnel: Outreach * Inquiry * Referral * Acceptance * Admission * Start of Care.
  • Analyze referral conversion, digital marketing, website activity, outreach, and campaign performance.
  • Develop scoring models to prioritize referral sources and markets by geography, payer, service line, demand, and conversion potential.
  • Identify referral leakage and recommend measurable corrective strategies.

(iii) Market & Geographic Analysis

  • Build county- and ZIP-code-level intelligence across Centerpiece’s service area.
  • Analyze demographics, healthcare demand, competition, payer opportunities, staffing capacity, and service utilization.
  • Compare performance and opportunity across skilled home health, non-medical home care, and future service lines.
  • Recommend where to concentrate marketing, recruitment, referral development, and expansion resources.

(iv) ODP & Program Development Analytics

  • Support planned ODP expansion through data-driven market and provider research.
  • Analyze provider networks, service availability, geographic demand, program data, and potential service gaps.
  • Build ODP intelligence into Centerpiece’s broader growth analytics framework and support management’s program-development decisions.

(v) Executive Decision Support

  • Present complex findings through clear dashboards, forecasts, visualizations, and executive summaries.
  • Partner with administration, nursing, intake, marketing, scheduling, and billing to identify business questions and convert them into measurable analyses.
  • Provide analytical support for payer strategy, market expansion, operational efficiency, patient acquisition, and program development.

Initial 90-180 Day Priorities

The Analyst’s initial work will focus on four tangible deliverables:

  • Growth Intelligence Dashboard - Build a management dashboard connecting referral source, referral volume, payer, service line, county/ZIP, marketing source, follow-up, admission, conversion rate, and Start of Care.
  • Seven-County Market Intelligence Model - Map and rank opportunities across Philadelphia, Delaware, Chester, Montgomery, Bucks, Berks, and Lancaster Counties using demographic, healthcare, competitive, referral, and operational data.
  • AI-Enabled Referral Intelligence System - Develop smart queries, automated research workflows, and scoring methodologies for identifying and prioritizing high-value referral sources and markets.
  • ODP Market Intelligence Framework - Develop the analytical foundation for evaluating provider networks, service demand, geographic opportunities, and program-development priorities as Centerpiece enters developmental-disability services., Success in this role means Centerpiece can increasingly answer important growth questions with data rather than assumptions. Within the first six months, the Analyst should establish measurable visibility into referral performance, conversion, geographic opportunities, marketing effectiveness, and priority markets-and provide leadership with practical recommendations based on those findings., Where available, a portfolio or work sample demonstrating a dashboard, data analysis, visualization, SQL/Python project, forecasting model, automation workflow, or comparable analytical project.
  • Applications should be submitted by email to executive@thecpha.org with the subject line: Business Analytics & Market Intelligence Analyst

· Selected candidates will be invited to an initial interview. Finalists may be asked to discuss or demonstrate a previous analytics project and explain how they would approach a practical Centerpiece business question using data.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Management, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience transforming complex data into actionable business recommendations.
  • Proficiency in SQL, advanced Excel, data visualization, statistical analysis, dashboard development, and data-quality management.
  • Ability to develop KPIs, analytical queries, forecasting models, and decision-support tools.
  • Working knowledge of AI-assisted analytics, research, and workflow automation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and presentation skills., Experience with Tableau, Qlik Sense, Alteryx, Python, R, SQL/database systems, AI tools, and automation platforms is preferred. Experience in market intelligence, forecasting, competitive analysis, marketing analytics, operations analytics, executive dashboards, or process improvement is highly desirable. Healthcare, Medicare, Medicaid, home health, home care, or human-services experience is beneficial but not required.
