Job description
A high-performing secondary school in York is looking for an experienced Data Manager to take ownership of its pupil information and reporting systems. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and teaching staff, ensuring data is accurate, accessible and presented in a way that supports effective decision-making. Key Areas Day-to-day management of the school’s MIS Assessment and progress data Attendance and behaviour reporting Producing reports for SLT Data collection and quality assurance Census and statutory returns Supporting examination and curriculum data Maintaining accurate pupil records Resolving data discrepancies Supporting colleagues with data systems
Requirements
You’ll ideally already have experience as a Data Manager or senior Data Officer within a school. Strong Excel skills and experience with a school MIS are important. You’ll also need to be highly organised and comfortable managing several deadlines at once.
