You’ll take responsibility for the school’s data systems and ensure accurate, timely information is available to staff and senior leaders.
- Managing and maintaining the school’s MIS
- Overseeing pupil and staff data
- Coordinating assessment and reporting cycles
- Producing reports and analysis for SLT
- Supporting census and statutory returns
- Managing data deadlines across the school
- Maintaining accurate student records
- Supporting staff with data queries
- Monitoring data quality and resolving discrepancies
- Ensuring GDPR and data protection procedures are followed
Requirements
An experienced Data Manager with previous school experience is required to join a high-performing secondary school in Stockport., Previous experience working within a school is essential for this position. You should have a strong understanding of school data, assessment cycles, pupil records and the day-to-day demands of working within an education environment., Previous school-based Data Manager or Data Officer experience is essential.
You’ll need excellent Excel skills, strong attention to detail and experience using a school MIS such as SIMS, Arbor, Bromcom or iSAMS.
Experience with assessment data, census returns, timetabling or examination data would also be highly useful.
