Job description

This opportunity is ideal for an engineering leader who enjoys balancing people management with technical leadership. The organization is investing heavily in platform modernization, AI-assisted software development, cloud-native architecture, and engineering scalability. The selected candidate will have significant influence over technical direction, delivery execution, platform evolution, and engineering culture while helping build and strengthen a growing Dallas-area presence., * Lead two engineering teams consisting of approximately 10 engineers

  • Drive engineering execution, planning, and delivery
  • Participate in architecture and system design discussions
  • Coach engineers and technical leads
  • Improve software quality and development practices
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leadership
  • Support modernization efforts and platform scalability initiatives
  • Build strong collaboration between U.S. and offshore teams
  • Establish metrics and accountability frameworks
  • Promote adoption of AI development tools and best practices

The Offer

  • Base Salary: $160,000 - $180,000

Requirements

  • 5+ years of software engineering management experience
  • Experience leading distributed or offshore engineering teams
  • Strong .NET / C# background
  • Experience with microservices architectures
  • Experience building distributed systems
  • Event-driven architecture expertise
  • API design and integration experience
  • Cloud platform experience (AWS preferred)
  • Agile leadership experience
  • Sprint planning and capacity planning experience
  • Team coaching and mentorship experience
  • Technical design review and architectural leadership experience
  • Strong delivery and execution mindset
