Senior Dev Ops Engineer

• Maintain monitoring and alerting solutions
• Develop and support automation frameworks
• Manage CI/CD pipelines
• Provide technical support to development teams to enable the efficient delivery of high-quality services and applications
• Build and maintain Kubernetes clusters on-prem and in cloud
• Access and IAM management in Google Cloud, Looker, BigQuery, etc.
• Database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Performance monitoring and fine-tuning
• Log collection and analysis
• Monitoring and alerting setup and management
• Establish best practices and standards and maintain documentation

• Hands-on experience with on-prem sharded MongoDB cluster
• Extensive experience building, managing, and scaling Kubernetes clusters (GKE, manual Kubernetes, etc.)
• Extensive experience designing and building high-availability, resilient infrastructure
• Experience setting up and maintaining monitoring, alerting, log collection (rsyslog, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK)
• Automation and scripting experience (Terraform, Packer, Ansible, Bash)
• Extensive Linux administration experience (Ubuntu LTS)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience in medium to large sized companies
• Experience dealing with different business units located in various parts of the globe
• Self-motivated team player with great attention to details, superb organizational skills, and ability to prioritize workload
• Proven track record maintaining and enhancing skill level according to future technology trends and using innovative approaches in solving and preventing problems
• Ability to analyse, solve problems, and work well under pressure
• Experience working independently and without direct supervision
• Willing to work outside standard business hours
