Job description
We are looking for an IT Coordinator to join our team and provide support to our site and office teams. The role involves supporting around 70 staff across the Northwest, helping with day-to-day IT issues and keeping our systems running smoothly.
This is a role for someone who already has IT support experience and wants to build on it by getting involved in a wide range of tasks.
Responsibilities
- Providing IT support to staff, including hardware, Office software, printing, VPN and connectivity issues.
- Setting up, configuring and maintaining laptops, tablets, phones and other IT equipment
- Administering Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune, including user accounts, licences and device enrolment
- Managing access to company systems and files, including SharePoint and Compliance Genie, for starters, role changes and leavers
- Carrying out IT inductions for new starters
- Visiting offices and oeprational sites to install equipment and resolve IT issues
- Troubleshooting network, Wi-Fi and site internet issues, working with our MSP and other suppliers where required
- Maintaining the IT asset register, including equipment allocation, site records and preparation of asset data for COINS
- Managing IT equipment procurement, purchase orders, stock and disposal
- Managing and formatting company templates, forms, internal communications and other digital documents
- Suppporting IT projects, sytem changes and day-to-day administration.
Requirements
- At least three years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operative systems and Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Confident creating and formatting documents, spreadsheets and templates
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues independently
- Proactive, organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Clear communication skills with a helpful and approchable manner
- Willingness to learn new systems and software
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car for work related use
