Solar PV Scheduling & Design Support (6-Month Fixed Term)

Grant Store Ltd is a growing renewables installer specialising in solar PV, battery storage and air source heat pumps. We’re looking for a well-organised administrator to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with a strong possibility of extension for the right person.

This is a varied, fast-paced role that combines scheduling and coordination with hands-on training in solar PV system design. You’ll be a key point of contact for customers and our network of trades, keeping our installation pipeline running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

• Scheduling and booking solar PV installation appointments, coordinating scaffolders, roofers, electricians and scaffold dismantle teams to keep jobs on track
• Managing the diary and communicating changes clearly to customers and subcontractors
• Answering inbound calls and responding to customer emails in a professional, friendly manner
• Training on and using OpenSolar to complete system designs - laying out panels on the roof, selecting inverter and battery sizes, and producing customer proposals
• Keeping our Zoho CRM up to date with customer records, job progress and communications
• General administrative support to the wider team

• A well-organised, methodical person who enjoys juggling multiple priorities without losing track of the detail
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with Zoho CRM (or a similar CRM system)
• Confident phone manner and clear written communication
• Willingness to learn technical software (OpenSolar) - full training provided
• Reliable, professional and comfortable liaising with trades, customers and colleagues
