Job description

Contact Solar is seeking a highly organised and proactive Support Administrator to support our Service Desk Department. This role is essential to ensuring the smooth administrative operation of post-installation technical support processes.

The successful candidate will act as a key point of contact for technical support administration, managing communications via phone and email, coordinating information and supporting the support team to ensure issues are logged, tracked and resolved efficiently., · Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Customer Support team

· Collate, organise and maintain technical documentation and installation records

· Chase and retrieve relevant information required for live and ongoing installations

· Triage and manage the Technical Support ticket inbox, prioritising and directing emails appropriately

· Ensure timely follow-ups and clear communication with internal teams

· Triage inbound calls to the appropriate technical team members where a first-time-fix isn’t possible

· Take accurate messages and ensure issues are escalated where required

· Assist in ensuring compliance with internal processes and documentation requirements

· Help maintain accurate records for auditing, certification and handover purposes

Requirements

Essential

· Strong administrative and organisational skills

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to prioritise tasks and manage a high volume of information

· Confident using ticketing systems, spreadsheets and internal CRM systems

· High attention to detail and accuracy

Desirable

· Previous administrative experience in a technical, construction, renewable energy or utilities environment

· Experience handling complaints or customer-facing administration

· Familiarity with solar PV installations or technical documentation (training can be provided)
