Summary of Job Duties: The Assistant to the office of CIO will provide administrative support, assist with office management activities, support communication and coordination between UITS Leadership and internal campus partners, assist in scheduling meetings, tracking action items, and other duties as assigned. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program at the University of Arkansas
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Experience providing administrative, office, customer service, or project coordination support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines., * Experience with Workday
  • Experience using collaboration and productivity tools such as SharePoint, Power BI, or project management software
  • Experience scheduling meetings, managing calendars, coordinating events, or supporting leaders and teams.
  • Experience preparing reports, presentations, meeting materials, or other business documents
  • Experience providing administrative, office, customer service, or project coordination support
  • Familiarity with higher education, information technology, or business operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information, conduct research, and support special projects.

  • Demonstrated professionalism, maturity, and ability to work with confidential, sensitive, and executive-level information.
