Design integrated transformation solutions primarily on AWS leveraging the full breadth of AWS services across application, database, and infrastructure domains: Application platform: EKS, ECS, Fargate, Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, App Runner, Elastic Beanstalk Database services: Aurora PostgreSQL, RDS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, Redshift, and DMS/SCT for heterogeneous migration Infrastructure foundational services: EC2, VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, S3, EBS, EFS, FSx, IAM, Control Tower, CloudFormation, Terraform Migration tooling: AWS MGN, AWS DMS, AWS DataSync, AWS SCT, and AWS MAP framework Data and AI platform: AWS Glue, Kinesis, Lake Formation, Bedrock, SageMaker for integrated data platform and agentic AI roadmap phases Apply Azure / Google Cloud Platform knowledge to extend solution coverage on multi-cloud or Azure-primary or Google Cloud Platform-Primary client environments: Azure equivalents across application (AKS, Azure App Service, Azure Functions), database (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Azure Database for PostgreSQL), and infrastructure (Azure VMware Solution, Azure Arc, Azure Virtual Network) domains Azure-to-AWS migration architecture for clients consolidating from hybrid Azure/AWS estates Azure data platform (Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory) integration patterns for clients with existing Azure data investments alongside AWS primary workloads

Candidates who require employer sponsorship now or at any point in the future will not be eligible for this opportunity., 15+ years in enterprise technology, with a development / solutioning experience. 8 12 years of experience in application architecture with a clear, demonstrated specialization in application portfolio assessment, migration strategy, and modernization roadmap development at enterprise scale Multi-cloud Exposure in designing migration and modernization architectures from Onprem to AWS, Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform Proven experience leading application assessment engagements for large enterprise clients with portfolios of 50 1000+ applications across heterogeneous technology landscapes Deep expertise in R-Treatment decision frameworks ability to independently assess, classify, and prescribe modernization treatment for diverse application types with clear, defensible rationale Strong understanding of application placement strategy across containerization, serverless, re-platform, and rearchitect patterns with ability to articulate trade-offs at both technical and business levels Hands-on knowledge of application discovery and assessment tooling such as MGN, CAST, Dynatrace, App Dynamics, SonarQube, Veracode and AWS X-Ray Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture patterns: microservices, containers (Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift), serverless (Lambda, API Gateway), event-driven design, and API-first principles sufficient to assess application fitness for each pattern and design the target architecture Experience with DevSecOps toolchains (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ADO, Terraform, CloudFormation) and ability to define DevSecOps enablement as part of migration roadmaps Strong business case development skills ability to construct TCO models, ROI analyses, and modernization investment justifications for executive audiences Excellent written communication and presentation skills able to produce and present board-quality assessment reports, portfolio heat maps, and roadmap decks Proven ability to operate in onsite-offshore engagement models with direct CxO and technical stakeholder engagement Prior consulting or pre-sales solutioning experience is strongly preferred
