Job description

  • Design, build and maintain integrations between PIM, Salesforce, eCommerce, ERP and other business systems using Microsoft Azure.
  • Develop scalable integration solutions using API-led, event-driven, message-driven and batch processing approaches.
  • Define and maintain integration standards, data mappings and message contracts to support loosely coupled architectures.
  • Implement secure integration solutions, applying Azure security best practices and access controls.
  • Build resilient and highly observable integrations with effective monitoring, alerting, logging and recovery mechanisms.
  • Investigate and resolve integration failures, data quality issues and production incidents across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, platform owners and external partners to deliver integration projects.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation, standards and best-practice guidance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across integration engineering and delivery processes.

Requirements

Essential

  • Proven hands-on experience designing and building integrations within Microsoft Azure.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services such as Functions, Service Bus, Logic Apps, API Management, Event Grid and/or Data Factory.
  • Excellent understanding of integration architecture principles, including scalability, resilience, maintainability and loose coupling.
  • Experience integrating enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, PIM or eCommerce platforms.
  • Strong experience developing and consuming REST APIs, data mappings and message contracts.
  • Solid understanding of authentication, authorisation, secret management and secure integration design.
  • Experience implementing monitoring, logging and alerting within distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of reliable integration patterns including retry mechanisms, dead-letter queues, idempotency and failure recovery.
  • Experience working with Git, structured development methodologies and deployment practices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder communication skills.

Desirable

  • Experience integrating Salesforce.
  • Experience working with multiple ERP solutions.
  • Knowledge of Python and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with modern web architectures, including Next.js.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines or large-scale business transformation programmes.
