Job description

Kforce has a client that is seeking an AI Cloud Platform Engineer in Miami, FL (Florida)., Join a global organization building the next generation of enterprise AI capabilities. As a Senior AI Cloud Platform Engineer, you will design, develop, and operate secure cloud-based AI platforms and agent infrastructure on AWS. Working closely with Architecture, Security, and Engineering teams, you’ll build scalable services that enable AI agents to securely access enterprise data, integrate with LLM platforms, and move from prototype to production., * Design and build Model Context Protocol (MCP) services that securely connect AI agents to enterprise content stored in OneDrive and SharePoint

  • Develop and operate agent runtime and gateway platforms on AWS, including identity management, tool access, memory, observability, and operational controls
  • Integrate enterprise AI solutions with OpenAI, ChatGPT, Anthropic Claude, and Amazon Bedrock services
  • Implement AI security controls, governance, auditing, data protection, and access management in partnership with cybersecurity teams
  • Create reusable patterns for authentication, authorization, API integrations, and secure agent operations
  • Build automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code solutions, and deployment frameworks for AI applications and services
  • Enable developers with AI-assisted development platforms and tools such as Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor
  • Produce technical documentation, reference architectures, and implementation guidance to support enterprise AI adoption

Requirements

  • 10+ years of software engineering, cloud engineering, or platform development experience, including significant production AWS experience
  • Experience building APIs, integrations, or MCP services utilizing OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and enterprise identity solutions
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Graph, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Microsoft Entra ID
  • Experience integrating and deploying solutions using OpenAI, Anthropic, or other large language model platforms
  • Experience with Terraform, Git-based development workflows, and CI/CD platforms
  • Strong expertise with AWS services such as IAM, networking, APIs, serverless architectures, containers, observability, and secrets management
  • Knowledge of AI security, least-privilege access controls, governance, monitoring, and secure software delivery practices
  • Strong programming skills in Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with architecture, security, and engineering stakeholders

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
