Job description

Leverage GitHub Copilot and Generative AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and increase engineering productivity.
Conduct unit, integration, and functional testing to ensure solution quality and reliability.
Support QA, UAT, and production environments, including troubleshooting and defect resolution.
Analyze complex application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.

Requirements

8+ years of hands-on Guidewire InsuranceSuite implementation experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
Proficiency in Gosu, Java, XML, XSLT, and SQL.
Strong experience with Guidewire Studio, Rules, Workflows, Data Model, and configuration.
Experience developing and troubleshooting SOAP/REST integrations.
Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI pair-programming tools.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and with tools such as Jira.
Experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI agents, or internal Generative AI tools.
Experience integrating AI-assisted development tools into enterprise software engineering workflows.
Strong knowledge of P&C insurance business processes and the insurance lifecycle.
Understanding of Generative AI concepts and their practical application in software development.
Familiarity with SmartCOMM, GhostDraft, or similar document-generation platforms.
Familiarity with Git, GitHub, SVN, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance, including Commercial and Personal Lines.
Design, develop, configure, and customize Guidewire InsuranceSuite applications, particularly PolicyCenter.
Develop and maintain integrations with external applications and enterprise systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
Develop and debug solutions using Gosu, Java, XML, XSLT, and SQL., Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
