You communicate clearly, kindly, collaborate well with others, and take ownership of your work from start to finish., * At least 3 years of web development experience, including building, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting web applications. This should include experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, PHP and developing for WordPress (building plugins and themes.)

  • Knowledge of web development principles, application architecture, content management systems, accessibility standards, responsive design, and the software development life cycle.
  • Experience with version control and developer platforms.
  • Experience with LLM tools in development, and the knowledge to vet their output.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to find the root cause of technical issues and turn business and user needs into practical solutions.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues,
  • Ability to create clear documentation to colleagues, adding comments to code and providing useful reviews of pull requests.
  • Commitment to inclusive design and creating digital products that are accessible, usable, and responsive for a variety of audiences.

Education Equivalency:

  • A fully relatable bachelor’s or master’s degree may replace some (not all) of the required years of experience needed to qualify for the position, but is not required for the role.
