Job description

  • Working onsite to support clients with network and device issues.
  • Researching products and advising clients on best fit solutions such as laptops, desktops, servers, printers, network equipment etc.
  • Writing documents such as manuals, configuration documentation, network audits
  • Working on internal solutions/products to improve the business and the services we provide.
  • Aiding with physical cabling/wireless/network switching installations.
  • Resolving helpdesk tickets

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in macOS?, Ap.Rox IT Ltd. is a fresh, young company providing IT support and services to a range of commercial and education clients. We are currently looking to recruit a junior IT support technician who is self-motivated and has a passion for technology and a willingness to learn. The role will be primarily based with one of our education clients, as well as some time working in the main company office. If you feel you would like to be part of a lean but great team and could help drive the business forward, this could be a great opportunity for the right person.

An enhanced DBS check will be carried out on the successful applicant., * Ability to resolve issues on devices running Microsoft Windows, Apple OS, Android devices

  • Able to diagnose basic network issues for end user devices (desktops, laptops, printers etc.)
  • A real passion for IT and technology.
  • Well-presented and able to talk clearly to clients.
  • Someone who can pay attention to detail.
  • The ability to research products/information as required.
  • A good team player and the ability to work on your own.
  • A full UK driver’s license with no endorsements.
