Manager, Tax - Technology & Data

• Data Research & Analysis: Perform detailed data research and analysis of large financial data sets; troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues.

• Project Management: Support and independently drive Tax technology projects; manage project prioritization, document requirements, create timelines, and communicate trade-offs with business partners.

• Technology Deployment: Deploy IT initiatives for the Tax function; prototype, develop, implement, and test systems; deliver training programs for new technology solutions.

• Global Collaboration: Work with global Tax teams to create and implement scalable processes; align technology requirements with core Tax department needs.

• BS degree in Data, Computer Science, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related field or equivalent experience

• 8+ years’ working experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master plus 5 years’ work experience) in tax, accounting, data analysis or related field

• Proficiency at querying relational databases (SQL) and ability to pull data from multiple

• Experience with VBA, Python, R, and/or Machine Learning Skills

• Ability to explain financial/technical concepts and analysis implications clearly to a wide audience and be able to translate business objectives into actionable analyses

• Experience with large data sets, data reconciliation, data modeling, and large-scale data warehouses, Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field and 3 years’ experience in accounting, finance, income tax compliance, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in accounting, finance, income tax compliance, or related area. 1 years’ supervisory experience.
