Job description

About the role: PwC helps organisations achieve sustainable, responsible growth by combining business strategy, customer insight, technology, and AI to deliver value for customers, employees, partners, and shareholders alike. As part of the CLT Consulting team, you will work with leading consumer goods organisations to shape and deliver commercial transformation strategies, uncover new growth opportunities, enhance customer experiences, drive operational efficiencies, and embed AI-enabled ways of working. This role will be instrumental in building and driving PwC’s AI proposition within the Consumer Goods and front-office consulting space, helping define market-leading offerings, develop innovative use cases, and champion AI adoption both internally and with clients. As a Delivery Manager, you will lead complex front-office transformation programmes, manage client engagements, and oversee high-performing consulting teams while acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders. You will bring deep consumer goods expertise, strong programme leadership capabilities, and a passion for innovation, helping clients unlock the value of AI across commercial operations. Working within one of the industry’s most recognised consulting practices, and alongside strategic technology partners including Microsoft, AWS, Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, and leading cloud, data, cyber security, and automation specialists, you will contribute to transformative client outcomes, practice growth, and the continued evolution of PwC’s AI-led consulting capabilities.

What your day will look like:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of front-office transformation programmes for consumer goods clients, ensuring successful outcomes are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
  • Partner with senior client stakeholders to understand business priorities, shape project strategies and act as a trusted advisor, identifying opportunities to leverage AI and emerging technologies to drive growth, efficiency and customer value.
  • Help define and build PwC’s AI proposition within the Consumer Goods and front-office space, developing innovative use cases, shaping market offerings and bringing AI-enabled solutions to clients.
  • Champion the adoption of AI tools and ways of working across project teams and client engagements, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous learning and experimentation to enhance delivery and business outcomes.
  • Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, proactively managing risks, issues and project performance while ensuring clear communication, alignment and effective decision-making throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies and contribute to practice growth through business development, proposal development, client presentations and the expansion of AI-led consulting opportunities.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in Consumer Goods front-office functions or a consulting environment, with a strong understanding of commercial transformation and customer-facing operations.
  • Passion for AI and emerging technologies, coupled with the curiosity, energy and drive to shape how AI is applied across commercial and front-office transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to confidently bridge business and technology discussions, bringing AI-driven thinking to solve complex challenges and deliver innovative outcomes.
  • Proven experience delivering multiple large-scale commercial transformation programmes, including cross-market engagements, with strong project management expertise and knowledge of delivery methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, build trusted client relationships and influence senior stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including functional expertise in TPM and Revenue Excellence (REx), a customer-centric mindset, and the flexibility to travel as required.
