OutSystems Solution Architect / Technical Evangelist in Washington DC

We are seeking an enterprise-level OutSystems Solution Architect to support a mission-critical program with a premier global financial institution in Washington, DC.

In this role, you will act as a senior technical authority and technology evangelist, bridging high-level enterprise architecture with hands-on solution design. You will engage with executive and CIO-level stakeholders to evaluate OutSystems fit, design scalable enterprise architectures, and develop working Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to accelerate delivery., * Serve as a technical subject matter expert and evangelist, leading technical evaluations, architectural workshops, and high-level presentations to C-suite and IT leadership.

• Analyze complex functional and technical business requirements to design scalable, secure, and resilient OutSystems solutions.
• Collaborate with sales and leadership teams to architect compelling technical proposals that align with enterprise standards.
• Assess enterprise IT ecosystems to ensure seamless strategic integration between OutSystems, legacy systems, databases, and third-party APIs.
• Partner with the delivery team to design and build hands-on Proofs of Concept (PoCs) demonstrating feasibility and business value.
• Establish architectural best practices, governance models, and 3-Layer Canvas standards across development teams.

• Experience: Minimum 15+ years of overall IT software engineering experience, with at least 7+ years dedicated to OutSystems architecture and delivery.
• Architecture & Pre-Sales: Demonstrated track record in technology pre-sales, solution architecture, RFP response development, and executive presentations.
• Hands-on Delivery: Ability to roll up your sleeves to develop working Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and guide development teams through complex integrations.
• Technical Breadth: Strong background in web and mobile application architectures, database modeling (SQL/Oracle), REST/SOAP APIs, and microservices integration.
• Methodologies: Strong experience delivering in Agile/Scrum enterprise environments.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field., * Official OutSystems Certifications (e.g., Professional Platform Ops, Architecture Specialist, Delivery Specialist, or Lead Developer).
• Prior experience delivering solutions in banking, financial services, or global multilateral development institutions.
• Active involvement or recognition within the OutSystems community.
