Software Engineer

We’re seeking a skilled Software Engineer to support data-driven decision-making through a mix of Power Platform, Tableau, and Power BI development. This onsite, 12-month opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building intuitive solutions, improving workflows, and partnering with stakeholders to solve complex business problems. Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in Tableau and Power BI
• Develop custom solutions using Power Apps, including canvas and model-driven applications
• Create and support automated workflows with Power Automate
• Connect solutions to data sources such as SQL Server, SharePoint, APIs, and cloud-based systems
• Transform and prepare data for reporting and analytics using ETL processes
• Review existing applications, reports, and code to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements
• Identify root causes of technical problems and apply fixes to enhance solution performance
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Document processes, data sources, and solution logic to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing
• Provide responsive support to users and communicate progress clearly throughout issue resolution

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate
• 2+ years of experience building dashboards and visualizations in Tableau
• Strong understanding of data modeling, DAX, and Power Query/M
• Solid SQL skills and knowledge of database concepts
• Experience integrating with REST APIs and web services
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing technical solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical audiences
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and collaboratively

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SharePoint Online and Dataverse
• Familiarity with Starburst or Databricks
• Experience supporting end users or customers in a technical environment
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices and user experience principles
• Background creating documentation or knowledge base resources
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
